It was a total pleasure working on this Real-Time character in Unreal Engine to study the game pipeline for characters.
The hair is an alembic groom exported from Maya-Xgen.
I wanted to make this dude from scratch to really push myself. This included his modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, groom and shading in Unreal. Check out the other project for his cinematics!

and made my own unique hair shader out of it with some minor additions. It is amazing what all you can do in unreal.
